Exchange opportunities
Many universities offer the opportunity to study abroad as part of your degree.
There are 2 options:
Study at an overseas university where subjects are taught in a foreign language.
A grasp of the relevant language is clearly required – there are usually arrangements to develop these as part of your studies before your placement.
Study at an oversees university where subjects are taught in English
Destinations include the USA, Canada, Malaysia, the UK and New Zealand.
Many Chemical Engineering departments have a number of ‘partner’ universities with which these exchange placements are arranged and there will be ongoing contact between academic tutors at both ends of the exchange to support you.
