What gets you out of bed in the morning?
The fact that each day is completely different and I never know how it will end. What pushes me to solve problems and complete challenges is the feeling of satisfaction and adding value. The fact that I get paid well also helps!!
Briefly, what does your typical day involve?
I currently help resolve problems with IT systems in the energy sector. I spend the day liasing with various experts and clients in order to investigate problems and look at various options as well as deriving suitable solutions.
What is the most interesting thing you have done today?
A community event on how best to develop your management style.
What is the most unusual thing you have done as part of your job?
Worked in a school for a day teaching team building skills.
What is the most unlikely place your job has taken you?
Soon I am being sent out to Chicago.
What has been the most rewarding moment in your career?
Standing on the stage on graduation day, collecting my degree.
What is the one personal ambition you still want to achieve?
I would like to go and help a community in the third world.
When you are not at work what is your greatest pleasure?
I enjoy playing hockey for Accenture who are involved in the corporate league and I also play for a London club.
What would the casual observer not guess about you?
I have worked out on an offshore platform in the North Sea, and it was a fantastic experience.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Frasier Island, Australia - the beaches are simply out of this world.
