Resourcing process engineering teams for projects.

What part of your job gets you out of bed in the morning?

Being in a position where I can make a real difference to peoples' lives, and give them opportunities to be successful.

Briefly, what does your typical day involve?

E-mails, working on a proposal, carrying out a technical review, discussing new developments and practices, talking to people, interviewing new candidates, making up a team for a new project.

What is the most interesting thing you have done today?

Negotiating to take an extra graduate on next year as we had two outstanding applicants and it was impossible to choose between them.

What is the most unlikely place your job has taken you?

Got to be Grand Bahama Island.

What is the one personal ambition you still want to achieve?

To complete a full Ironman Triathlon.

When you are not at work what is your greatest pleasure?

Skiing with my wife and children, rowing and keeping fit, helping out at the local surf lifesaving club, and spearfishing.

What would the casual observer not guess about you?

I was in the National Squad for rowing.

What is your favourite holiday destination?

Bora Bora, in the French Pacific, where I’ve been, or the Galapagos Islands where I’m planning to go.
