Exchange opportunities
Many universities offer the opportunity to study abroad as part of your degree.
There are 2 options:
- Study at an oversees university where subjects are taught in a foreign language.
- Popular destinations include Germany, France and Spain.
- A grasp of the relevant language is clearly required – there are usually arrangements to develop these as part of your studies before your placement.
- Study at an oversees university where subjects are taught in English
- Popular destinations include the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Each Chemical Engineering department will have a number of ‘partner’ universities with which these exchange placements are arranged and there will be ongoing contact between academic tutors at both ends of the exchange to support you.
